Out of pocket cost below means the cost to you after the Medicare rebate has been applied. The total cost that you pay upfront may vary due to the length of consultation. Please note that Medicare rebate in most cases is processed on the spot with the funds being available to you immediately. In certain situations and especially for procedures it may take 2 to 3 days for the funds to be cleared by Medicare into your account. If you do not hold a valid Medicare card the full fee is payable. Please enquire with your insurance regarding the rebate. In most cases insurances reimburse the exact amount equal to the relevant Medicare item number. Some private insurances also cover the out-of-pocket expense. We cannot advise whether your insurance will do so.

| Full body skin check with total body mole mapping/ photography
A series of 20 region photographs of the entire body are taken using our State Of The Art ATBM master to create a record of your skin surface. This is followed by a review by a skin cancer doctor with dermoscopic (high magnification) photography and digital analysis of any spots of concern. The best method for detecting current skin cancers and identifying potential skin cancers by monitoring changes over time. |

| Full body skin check
Head to toe examination with dermoscopic photography and digital analysis of any spots of concern, with limited body mapping photography (1 or 2 regions). Recommended for many patients as it includes examination of hard to check areas like scalp, toe nails and back. Your doctor will recommend a repeat frequency depending on your risk factors. |

| Non-attendance or late cancellation fee
Note: If you book an appointment for total body mole mapping and decide at the time you attend that you no longer wish to have this service, this will be considered a late cancellation and you will be billed half the fee of mole mapping. |
